October 22 in Belassi restaurant smelled of duck
The penultimate Saturday in October was in the spirit of traditional autumn gourmet specialties. So that you don’t have to go far, or if you came from afar to see other attractions of Bojnice, we brought Slovak traditions to us. The weather was nice, the garden was glowing with colours, the ducks were smelling, the desserts were melting on the tongue and in the evening a folk band came and completed the (post)feast atmosphere with its repertoire.
Autumn duck menu
Duck feasts, so typical for this time of year, were not just for meat lovers. Vege gourmets and dessert connoisseurs will also find their own. In addition to duck in a variety of ways, from duck pate or duck consomme to confit or roasted duck leg or breast, there were also meatless dishes such as pumpkin cream soup, pumpkin cream risotto, salad with goat cheese or apple and plum strudel and lokše filled with plum jam, poppy seeds and hot forest fruits. On this Saturday in October, it smelled differently and no one went hungry.
Thank you to everyone who spent this weekend with us and we look forward to spending more pleasant moments in your company.
