Magura
It is the highest hill of Mala Magura, a geomorphological subdivision of the Strážov Hills. with a height of 1 141,3 m n. m. It is located in the Prievidza district and the nearest villages are Nevidzany, Poruba and Chvojnica. You can start your hiking route directly from Bojnice via Kalvária along the yellow trail.
Kneel
Kľak is a distinctive hôľnato-skalnatý peak on the main ridge of the southern part of Lúčanská Mala Fatra. It is a good place for hiking and winter sports. Skiarena Fačkovské sedlo is a paradise for lovers of winter sports and adrenaline.
Ski Cígeľ and Jančekova skala
Not far from Bojnice we can find a popular small ski resort Ski Cígeľ, which is open all day on weekends and offers night skiing during the week. From the reservoir there is an easy hiking trail, also suitable for families with children to Jančekova skala.
Vtáčnik Mountains
Vtáčnik is a distinctive bralnatý peak on the main ridge of the mountain of the same name. It is also known for its climbing area Hrádok and offers various challenging hiking routes.
